Plain terms for a quiet app.

Pixelridge Web operates SteadyPact. These terms cover the SteadyPact Android app, the public website, and the free launch list. SteadyPact is free at launch; nothing is sold through this website.

The free product-update list

Joining the launch list costs nothing. The form asks for email, country or region, confirmation that you are 18 or older, and your consent to launch emails. Launch emails use neutral subject lines and include a one-click unsubscribe link.

What the app does

SteadyPact shows a pause screen over the apps you choose during your night, after your daily scroll limit, and during focus or study sessions you start, using Android's Usage Access and "Display over other apps" permissions that you grant. Optional Safe browsing uses Android's own Private DNS setting, which you turn on, and SteadyPact checks whether that filter is working. The app has no account, works offline, and keeps its data only on your phone; see the privacy policy.

You can change your plan, end a session, or turn SteadyPact off at any time. Calls, alarms, messages and music are never paused.

No impossible-to-bypass guarantee

A person who controls a device can eventually change settings, remove software, reset the device, or otherwise defeat many consumer protection tools. SteadyPact is intended to add a deliberate pause and make protection status visible, not to promise that bypass is impossible.

Price

SteadyPact is free at launch. If paid options are ever added, they will be sold through Google Play, which will show the price, taxes, renewal terms and how to cancel before you pay.

Educational information, not treatment

SteadyPact is a self-help tool for managing phone time, not medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or an emergency service. Website articles provide general educational information. Seek qualified professional help when personal medical or mental-health advice is needed.

Age and acceptable use

SteadyPact is intended for adults aged 18 and older. Do not misuse the forms, attempt to interfere with the service, submit another person's information without permission, or send illegal, abusive, or explicit material through SteadyPact contact channels.

Availability and changes

The app and website are provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep the pause reliable, but phone makers' battery settings, Android updates, or changes you make can stop it from working. Product plans can change after testing, app-store review, or feedback. No launch date is promised until it is announced.
