Turn on Safe browsing.
Safe browsing is an optional switch. It uses Android's own Private DNS setting with Cloudflare's family filter, which blocks adult and harmful websites in most browsers.
Coming soon toGoogle Play- In SteadyPact, tap Copy & open next to Safe browsing. It copies family.cloudflare-dns.com.
- In Settings, open Network and internet (or Connections), then Private DNS.
- Choose Private DNS provider hostname, paste, and save.
- Back in SteadyPact, Settings shows whether filtering is on.
SteadyPact does not change your network or route your traffic. It is not a VPN, and it never sees the websites you visit. To check the filter works, it makes a small test lookup through the DNS you chose.
Turning Private DNS off, or using a VPN, stops the filter. So can a browser that has its own secure DNS setting turned on, because it looks up websites itself instead of asking Android. If a browser still opens sites the filter should block, look in its settings for Secure DNS or DNS over HTTPS and turn it off. SteadyPact shows you when the filter is off rather than pretending it is on.
