Keep SteadyPact running on Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO.

Xiaomi phones close background apps aggressively to save battery. A few settings stop them closing SteadyPact.

  1. Open Settings, then Apps, then Manage apps, and tap SteadyPact.
  2. Turn on Autostart.
  3. Tap Battery saver (or Battery) and choose No restrictions.
  4. Open your recent apps, press and hold the SteadyPact card, and tap the lock icon so clearing recents does not close it.

Menu names change between system versions. If a label is different on your phone, search Settings for "autostart", "battery optimisation" or "background".

Check it worked

Open SteadyPact, tap Settings, then Check permissions. When everything is set, it says "Everything is working" and the notification reads "Steady is on".

These settings only let SteadyPact keep running. It still uses no internet for your plan and uploads nothing.
