Keep SteadyPact running on Samsung Galaxy.

Samsung can put apps you have not opened for a while to sleep. Make SteadyPact unrestricted and keep it off the sleeping lists.

  1. Open Settings, then Apps, and tap SteadyPact.
  2. Tap Battery and choose Unrestricted.
  3. Open Settings, then Battery (or Device care, then Battery), then Background usage limits.
  4. Check SteadyPact is not under Sleeping apps or Deep sleeping apps, and add it to Never sleeping apps.

Menu names change between system versions. If a label is different on your phone, search Settings for "autostart", "battery optimisation" or "background".

Check it worked

Open SteadyPact, tap Settings, then Check permissions. When everything is set, it says "Everything is working" and the notification reads "Steady is on".

These settings only let SteadyPact keep running. It still uses no internet for your plan and uploads nothing.
